Where we started
Pic-a-lily was started by Peter in 2007 after working as a head gardener for a private estate in the surrey / Hampshire area.
The company name came about due to Peter’s love of the lily flowers and his 2 daughters. His eldest is Katie, who he affectionately called pickle, then just as Peter was made redundant his second daughter Lily was born and Pic-a-lily was started. Due to redundancy Peter set up with a van and a few tools. Today pic-a-lily runs a team of people who all enjoy being outdoors and have an excellent understanding of plant and garden care. This allows us to take on the smallest of tasks in a domestic garden as well as large projects to transform even the largest of outdoor spaces.
